Dear Diane: (I received your email address from my friend, Arnie Rosner)
When I see the three letters of BOE, which is today an incorporated business seen in all its splendor as a Dunn and Bradstreet listing with an EIN number, I frankly shake my head in sadness.
Oh, I wish it were true that the BOE cared deeply about businesses in California, but actions speak much louder than words. I am a senior citizen barely making it through life on a limited social security income,
and yet because I hold an owner’s certificate for a “shoebox” on someone else’s land, I need to pay an annual Fire Tax. Since we all paid this tax in its first year without refusal, this apparently created an “annual fire tax” which I’m sure the profiteering BOE is so proud to extract “with penalties” from every possible victim.
Would I care if the brave firemen who care deeply about our forests and homes really received this money?
Unfortunately, Diane, the brave fire prevention people do not get these funds. If you were to “track” where this money goes, which is millions of dollars collected from desperate Californians, you would be appalled to find that over 75% goes into California’s general fund. The Fire Tax is more grand theft, originated by deceptive lies suggesting there is not enough money for fire prevention.
Suffice it to say, this is heart wrenching in itself, but due to deep-guarded secrecy, the average Californian has no clue that there are “trillions” of misdirected funds in the CAFR, or Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. These are funds taken from the people without their knowledge or express permission, that are annually invested in many other mainstream corporations selected by leaders betraying our trust.
So for you to say that you will be doing a great job for Board of Equalization, which is by far one of the most evil corporations in California, is truly an oxymoron. When you step over that line as an employee, you are now working for a California corporation made to “look like” they are in existence to help people. This is a blatant falsehood. So while you most likely need a paycheck, I need to let you know that paycheck will be based on lying, cheating and stealing from the California people. What used to be the greatest state in America has been reduced to an open-door cesspool of double dealing and crime.
So even in your heart of hearts, Diane, how can you honestly tell anyone that you plan to do a great job for the Board of Equalization? Will you genuinely be proud to represent one of the greatest crime syndicates opposed to California’s prosperity?
