Thank you for using our 24/7 e-mail to contact us. If you did not receive your tax bill, you can view and print it online at ocgov.com/octaxbill, just input your APN or your physical address. If your question is urgent, please contact a customer service representative at 714-834-3411 between 9 and 5 pm.
If your question is related to the value of your property, please contact the Assessor directly at 714-834-2727. The Assessor also handles ownership questions (714-834-5031), address changes (714-834-2939) and exemption questions (714-834-3821). Please note that for FY 15/16 property tax bills, you can appeal the assessed value up to Novemer 30, 2015 athttps://assessmentappeals.ocgov.com/aa/, but must pay the property taxes billed timely and will receive a refund if the assessed value is lowered.
Please note that the County does not produce any 1099’s for property tax payments. If you are a business and need a W-9 in order to process your payment, please send us a reply email and include a fax number so that we can fax the form to you. Please also note what type of invoice it is (i.e. property tax, OC Public Works) so that we can send you the proper PO Box for your records as we use different PO Boxes for different types of invoices.
For all other questions, please provide relevant information and our goal is to respond within four business days. Please include a contact phone number and e-mail in the body of the message to ensure that we can contact you.
Please consider “Going Green” by paying your property tax bills on-line at no cost using our eCheck (your bank account) at ocgov.com/octaxbill.
Also, consider signing up to receive a secured property tax bill e-mail reminder at ocgov.com/taxreminder.
