Dear Detective Helvig:
I think that the law clearly states that once such a crime becomes knowledge to any American or to any “person in civil or military authority”, then it becomes that person’s duty to report the crime to higher authorities and to pursue investigations to whatever ends they lead. Although GAO may well be “the federal policing asset arm of Congress and this is their jurisdiction”, if it is an arm of Congress then that is like having the fox guarding the hen house. I suggest that the F.B.I would be the better branch of government, it being probably capable of investigating even G.A.O.
I would greatly appreciate your taking this on and helping me to formalize my complaint at this level, so that it can be pursued up the appropriate ladders of authority to effectuate a conclusive end to the fraud and extortion in question. Once we do that there will be plenty for politicians to talk about.
Please reconsider your stance as to taking on issues that touch upon the so-called “federal authorities” of our completely unlawful and dysfunctional federal government.
This is a public issue and I am sharing our correspondence with some who may want to post it on the Web. Please understand that I am always happy to be corrected, and there may well be other avenues to pursue to good effect; but I still believe that the best course to take on this is the one I have demanded. At least here in the Town of Oro Valley I have standing.

Sorry it took so long, I have been out of the office for some time.
I know from experience that the General Accounting Office (GAO) is the federal policing asset arm of Congress and this is their jurisdiction. There is a clear defining line of how far local law enforcement can reach. This is beyond that. I avoid any internet propaganda IE infowars and the like.
Being that it is a election time of year, those in the running are looking for topics to discuss and this may be one of those topics.
