There is a very important event on Wednesday, October 16th at 6 P.M at the Waterford Township Hall Auditorium. It is a township council meeting where I will be giving a presentation in support of the 2nd Amendment Preservation Resolution!
This is the first step in local, county-wide resistance to Obama’s unconstitutional gun control schemes!
The resolution makes a strong statement against gun control, affirms that the township stands for 2nd Amendment rights and urges legislators at the state level to take decisive action to preserve our right to keep and bear arms! We need your support by showing up to the event in Waterford and taking the initiative to introduce a resolution in your community!
This is already a state-wide movement with Delta, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Crawford, Alpena and Jackson Counties all passing 2nd Amendment Preservation Resolutions. These counties began with getting cities and townships on board first to show the county commissioners that there is a large groundswell of grassroots support for protecting gun rights. That is the stage we are at right now, and we need YOU to be a community leader to help get this passed in your town.
All you have to do is-
- Step 1: Be a resident of the town in which you are introducing the 2nd Amendment Preservation Act > >
- Step 2: Contact the Supervisor > >
- Step 3: Give them a draft of the resolution > >
- Step 4: Have the supervisor get it on the agenda for a town council meeting > >
- Step 5: Give a presentation to your local representatives in favor of the resolution > >
An example of a 2nd Amendment Resolution that you can edit for your town can be found at the following link- > http://michigan.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2nd-amendment-preservation-resolution/
Washington D.C. Obviously isn’t going to reform itself so that means we need to rise to the occasion and become leaders within our own communities. With the 2nd Amendment Preservation Act, we can restore freedom one town at a time. It has worked throughout the state, and it can work in Oakland County too! > >
The address to the Waterford Township Hall Auditorium is:
