Many Hollywood movie stars have achieved critical acclaim and world-wide recognition as a result of delivering some impressive and unique acting performance.  In these particular roles they have successfully been able to project or transform themselves from their normal real-life every day persona to be something very different; something they definitely are not.

In a way I see this incredible talent as the ability to deceive those in the audience into accepting a distorted view reality.  Or perhaps another way to express this is the more believable the performance the more talent the actor has demonstrated to deceive.

So if you find you too agree, maybe you can explain why is it a person who has distinguished themselves as a master of deception can also be taken seriously and is therefore qualified to act as an expert in politics?
